UPDATE: A recent email had the incorrect link for Gabby Bernstein’s Relief Workshop. Here is the correct link.
As I sit down to write this, I find myself grappling with what to say. How can I be of service at a time when our whole world is dealing with such a monumental health crisis?
What I come to is this: I will speak my truth. And I hope that it supports you and you feel me from my kitchen.
I believe this is a time for us to go inward. It is a time to call on a higher power of our own understanding and allow the light and love to come through. When panic and crisis hit, we need to find relief by going inward. This doesn’t mean hide away or ignore what’s happening. It doesn’t mean we focus only on ourselves. Instead, we gather our strength and stand firmly grounded in the knowledge that we are love and that love is ultimately what will win. There is more than enough fear to go around. Judgment and anger too. I am feeling all of it. However, none of that energy serves any purpose. We must all work toward letting go of that which does not serve us.
This morning during my meditation, I asked for support and guidance. And here’s what came through:
Focus On What’s Working
Now more than ever it is important for all of us to focus on what we have and what we can appreciate. When we pull our attention away from the negative and away from fear rising, we call in the calm, grounded energy. Perhaps you are grateful for more time to attend to the little things. If you are working from home, you can connect more with family or sit together for meals. If you are in a service industry, you can appreciate what you are offering people at a time when your work is especially needed. Focus on the next right thing. Stay informed but steer clear of having news channels on all day.
Release Judgment
This is a tough one. I have a lot of judgment about the current situation. I find myself going into the “if only they…” or “why now?” And then I feel worse. I feel depleted. So I ask for support in letting it go. You have very little to offer someone when you are angry or judgmental. In fact, this energy can poison the room, causing others to feel anxiety or anger. Nobody wins. Avoid toxic people on social media, turn off the news channels, and recognize this time as an opportunity to see people as equal. No one person or country or race or religion caused this state of affairs. It is important to stand in your truth and your beliefs, but not in a way that causes personal harm. Recognize there is a difference between facts and beliefs. There is a difference between holding someone accountable versus blaming them. Decide what you want to be putting into the world. You can choose to be right, or you can choose to be happy.
Self Care
For many of us, this is a time to slow down and focus more on what helps us feel good. Taking a long walk can clear your head and help release anxiety. Meditation is a must for me during this time. Now more than ever, we need to nourish our bodies and minds. Cook more meals at home, and try new recipes. We need our strength and compassion. Recognize you can find relief whenever you need it by settling the mind and going inward. The more we focus our thoughts and energy on being at peace, the more easily we will find solutions to addressing any circumstance. When we allow ourselves to focus on the negative, it will only magnify.
Be Of Service
While we can’t connect in the usual way, we are blessed with the means to connect in other ways. Even the smallest offer of support can help us feel more powerful versus powerless. Call friends you’ve not spoken to in awhile. Volunteer to do at home work for a cause or organization. Drop off food to an elderly neighbor. FaceTime with family not living with you. Take time to acknowledge those who are on the front lines, or in public service. Let your mail person know you appreciate them. Let the restaurant offering take out know you support them by ordering a meal. Use social media to check in on your community. Social distancing does not mean we need to feel completely isolated.
Please Be Safe
Please take the guidelines for protecting yourself seriously. Protect your loved ones, and protect your energy. It is up to each and every one of us to be our best, to be all that is extraordinary about being human. The more you focus on maintaining your energy in a positive light, the more impact we can have collectively. It is an awesome power we have. 💕💗💕

Thank you Sara. This was very needed amid the confusion of the world at present. I feel helpless and stuck. I’ve just been waiting for something to happen, or for it to end and that’s not likely for a while yet. This gives me some direction to go forward. Bless you X
Thank you Sher. Stay strong. Know that you have support and guidance at every moment❤️❤️.
